Multiclip Ride-on Mowers

Mountfield 2000 and 4000 Series mowers look very different

from most other ride-on mowers, and they are.

Their front mounted Multiclip Combi cutter decks not only give

a superb finish they provide the operator with excellent visibility

and cut the grass before it is run over by the wheels of the

machine. Another tremendous advantage is their ability to

access those places; such as into corners or under bushes that

you can’t reach with a mid-mounted cutter deck.

Suitable for gardens of around an acre the 2000 Series feature

rear wheel steering. For larger areas the 4000 Series combine

front mounted cutter decks with genuine articulated steering to

provide the ultimate driving experience. All models are

have hydrostatic transmissions for infinitely variable ground

speed control.

If you have a car with 4WD you will appreciate the confidence

this inspires. On our 4WD model an oil pump powers two

separate hydrostatic transmissions; these in turn power

differentials to give a system that doesn’t chew up the turf,

even when driven enthusiastically.

Multiclip Combi cutter decks recycle your grass clippings and

save you time, money and effort without sacrificing the

standard of finish; or when the grass is longer select the rear

discharge facility. In Multiclip mode cut no more than a third off

the length of your grass at a time, this ensures there is room in

the standing grass to accommodate the cut grass particles so

you’ll have a clean, neat finish every time.
